In the first half of this year, the value-added from the industrial enterprises, which included all the state-owned ones, and non state-owned ones with the annual sales revenue of over 5 million yuan, reached 2468.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 17.7%. Especially, the value-added in this June was 460.8 billion yuan, up 16.2% year on year which was 1.3 percentage points lower over last month.

    Analyzed by light and heavy industries, in this first half of this year, the value-added of heavy industry totaled 1657 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 19.7%, specifically speaking, that in this June was 308.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 17.4% which was 1.5 percentage points lower than the rise of this May. The outputs of some products related to investment showed a great decline in the year-on-year rise, for instance, that of cement was up 13.2% in this June, down by 3.9 percentage points over this May; that of steel products grew 17.3% which was down by 3.3 percentage points over this May, and the outputs of the products directly related to construction such as medium- and small-sized steel products, reinforcing steel bar, plate circle and equipment all dropped clearly.

    In the first half of this year, the value-added of light industry totaled 511.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 15.6%, and that in this June registered 152 billion yuan, up 15.3% year on year which was 0.7 percentage points lower over this May.

    Regarding the electricity-generation condition, in the first half of this year, the electricity generated by the industrial enterprises above designated size totaled 990.9 billion kwh, a year-on-year rise of 15.8% which has been the acme since 1975 and 6.73 percentage points higher than the average growth rate since the 1990s. And the electricity generated in this June reached 174.8 billion kwh, up 14.3% over last June, and was 5.5 billion kwh more over this May.

    Analyzed by the export consignment value of industrial products, in this first half of this year, it totaled 1592.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 32.2% which was 2.8 percentage points higher over the same period of last year. The contribution rate from export to the industrial growth was about 19.6%, specifically speaking, the export consignment value reached 311.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 33.1%, and presented 23% contribution rate to the industrial growth in this June.

    As to the connection between the production and sale, in the first half of this year, the proportion of industrial products sold reached 97.2%, 0.19 percentage points higher over the same period of last year. And that in this June was 97.84%, keeping the same level with last June and up by 0.27 percentage points over this May.
