The survey on the 27000 agricultural production entities throughout the country conducted by the NBS showed that, the national production price of farm products in the third quarter rose 14.7% over the same period of last year. The production prices of products in planting, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery went up 22.3%¡¢3.8%¡¢7.1% and 12.1% respectively.
Among the planting products, the production price of grains rose 35.1% year on year, of which, that of corn rose 37.3%, that of wheat climbed 37.7%, that of maize was up 24.5%, that of rice ascended 43.1%, that of beans was up 21.9%,that of potato and similar products went up 11.1%, that of oil crops was up 15.2%, that of sugar crops climbed 3.2%, that of cotton went down 4.4%, that of vegetables rose 16.3%, that of fruits dropped 2.8%, those of tea leaves and tobacco leaves climbed 8.1% and 12.9% respectively.
Among the forestry products, the production price of timber rose 2.9%, that of bamboo went up 6.1%, that of resin products and fruit products rose 4.0%.
Among the livestock products, the price of live pigs sold rose 4.3%, the price of beef went up 6.1%, that of live sheep climbed 5.7%, that of dairy products went up 3.9%, that of fur and down products ascended 4.0%, those of poultry and eggs went up 16.8% and 18.1% respectively, 6.2 and 6.3 percentage points higher over the second quarter of this year in the rise.
Among the fishery products, the price of seawater products went up 9.6%, that of sea fishes climbed 9.9%, that of seashells went up 22.7%, that of products in fresh water ascended 16.5%, the price of freshwater fishes went up 15.8%, that of freshwater shrimp and crab went up 26.8%.
