According to the sample survey on the 68000 rural households in the 31 provinces(regions & municipalities directly under the central government), the per capita cash income of farmers in the first three quarters was 2110 yuan, eliminating the price fluctuation, a real year-on-year rise of 11.4% which was 7.6 percentage points higher than the rise of the same period of last year.
First of all, the wage income kept the steady growth.
The per capita wage income of farmers was 683 yuan, up 13.3%. Specifically speaking, the per capita income from the local township enterprises was 137 yuan, up 9%; that from laboring in local factories was 126 yuan, up 23.6%; that from laboring outside the permanent residing places was 238 yuan, up 18.8%.
Secondly, the income from selling agricultural products rose greatly.
The taxes turned in by the industrial enterprises above designated size totaled 636.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 22.1%. Especially, the taxes from the state-owned and state share-holding enterprises was 397.9 billion yuan, up 19.4%.
Thirdly, the rural family income from running business in the secondary and tertiary industries grew slowly.
The per capita cash income of rural family from running business in the secondary and tertiary industries was 312 yuan, up 3%. The per capita income from the industry was 63 yuan, up 6.6%; that from construction was 37 yuan, up 3.1%; that from the transport and postal services was 75 yuan, up 9.4%; that from the wholesale & retail trade and catering trade was 78 yuan, up 19.3%; that from social service was 25 yuan, up 9.3%; that from other non-agricultural production was 34 yuan, down 33.3%.
Fourthly, the income from property and transfer grew faster.
The per capita cash income of peasant from property was 51 yuan, up 30.5%; that from transfer was 105 yuan, up 24%. In the first three quarters, the increased cash of peasants from transfer was mainly due to the rise of income according to the policy. The per capita policy income of peasants in the first three quarters was 19 yuan, of which, that from directly grain subsidy was 12.7 yuan, that from the subsidy for fine seeds was 1.2 yuan, that from drawback was 0.6 yuan, that from the subsidy for turning cultivated land into forestry was 3.2 yuan, that from the subsidy for poverty relief was one yuan.
Fifthly, the burden from taxes and fees continued to decline greatly.
The per capita burden of peasants from taxes and fees was 22.5 yuan, a year-on-year drop of 11 yuan or 33%.
