According to the survey on 19500 enterprises of all ownership types conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the second quarter of this year, the confidence index of all the entrepreneurs was 128.5, dropping by 7.4 and 3.0 points over the first quarter of this year and the same period of last year.
First of all, the entrepreneur confidence indices of mining industry, manufacturing, production and supply of electricity, fuel gas and water, construction, transport, storage and post services, wholesale and retail trade, real estate, social services, information transmission, computer services and software development, boarding and catering trade reached 167.3, 123.3, 136.1, 128.9, 129.9, 128.8, 125.1, 129.8, 153.7 and 124.2, declining by 2.3, 9.2, 3.3, 0.9, 9.3, 9.1, 19.8, 2.6, 1.4 and 2.3 respectively; compared with the same period of last year, except the slight rises in mining industry, construction and social services, the entrepreneur confidence index in other industries declined unanimously to different extents. The entrepreneur confidence index in real estate went down 19.8 and 14.6 points over the first quarter of this year and the same period of last year.
Secondly, the entrepreneur confidence indices of the state-owned enterprises, collective-owned enterprises, share cooperation enterprises, limited liability company, private company, other domestic fund enterprises, foreign, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan investment enterprises were 129.4, 111.6, 117.6, 128.1, 134.4, 120.0, 114.8 and 131.8, down by 5.7, 9.9, 6.7, 6.6, 13.2, 9.0, 25.0 and 4.8 points over the first quarter of this year respectively; the entrepreneur confidence index of joint management enterprises was 113.0, keeping the same level with the first quarter of this year. Compared with the same period of last year, the entrepreneur confidence index of joint management enterprises went up to some extent, those of the state-owned enterprises, share cooperation enterprises and private enterprises changed little, those of other ownership types of enterprises went down to different degrees.
Thirdly, the entrepreneur confidence indices of the large-sized, medium-sized and small-sized enterprises were 139.7, 122.0 and 116.9, down by 11.3, 5.5 and 4.3 points over the first quarter of this year; compared with the same period of last year, those of large-sized and medium-sized enterprises descended by 8.2 and 1.7 points, that of the small-sized enterprises went up 2.0 points.
Fourthly, the entrepreneur confidence indices in the eastern, central and western regions were 128.6, 130.8 and 125.8, down by 8.1, 6.7 and 6.5 points over the first quarter of this year; compared with the same period of last year, that in the central region kept unchanged roughly, those in the eastern and western regions went down by 5.1 and 1.9 points respectively.
