In the first seven months of this year, the general level of consumer price rose 2.2% over the same period of last year.
Analyzed by category of commodities, in this July, the food price went up 2.3% over the same period of last year, that of non-foods went up 1.5%; that of consumer goods rose 1.2%, that of service items went up 3.9%.
Among the price of foods, that of grains dropped 0.9%, that of meat, poultry and their products went up 0.9%, that of fresh eggs went up 4.8%, that of aquatic products went up 2.3%, that of fresh vegetables rose 15.5%.
The price of tobacco, liquor and other articles went up 0.3%. Specifically speaking, that of tobacco went up 0.3%, that of liquors rose 0.5%.
The price of clothes went down 1.8%, of which, that of clothes dropped 2.0%.
The prices of home appliances and repairs services keep the same level, of which, that of durable consumer goods went down 0.9%, and that of home services, processing and repairs went up 4.1%.
The price of medical care and individual articles went up 0.2%, of which, that of western medicines dropped 1.4%, that of traditional Chinese medicines and prepared Chinese medicines went down 4.0% and that of medical treatment and health care went up 5.7%.
The price of transport and communications industry went down 1.0%. Specifically speaking, the price of transport tools went down 2.5%, that of vehicles and parts went up 11.6%, that of using vehicles and repairs rose 1.8%. that of commuting between cities went up 3.1%, and that of communications tools went down 15.9%.
The prices of recreation, education, cultural articles and related services went up 2.9%. Specifically speaking, the price of tuition, miscellaneous fees and fees for sending children to kindergartens went up 6.6%, the price for recreation went up 2.2%, that for travel and hanging out went down 0.5%, that of durable consumer goods for recreation declined 6.2%.
The price of housing went up 5.9%, of which, that of water, electricity and fuels rose 8.9%, that of building and upholstering materials went up 2.9%, and that of renting houses rose 2.2%.
