According to the survey on 19500 enterprises of all ownership types conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the third quarter of this year, the confidence index of all the entrepreneurs was 127.6, keeping the same level with the second quarter of this year, dropping by 5.0 points over the same period of last year.

    First of all, the entrepreneur confidence indices of mining industry, real estate development, transport, storage and post services, construction, manufacturing, supply of electricity, fuel gas and water and post services reached 158.5, 121.8, 127.6, 127.5, 122.6, and 135.6, declining by 8.9, 3.4, 2.3, 1.3, 0.7, and 0.6 over the second quarter of this year respectively; those of wholesale and retail trade, boarding and catering trade reached 129.0 and 124.7 respectively, keeping the same level with the second quarter of this year; those of social services and information transmission, computer services and software development reached 132.6 and 154.3 respectively, went up 2.7 and 0.6 points with the second quarter of this year respectively; compared with the same period of last year, except the slight rises in social services, construction, information transmission, computer services and software development, the entrepreneur confidence index in other industries declined unanimously to different extents.

    Secondly, the entrepreneur confidence indices of the state-owned enterprises, limited liability company and share limited company 128.5, 127.2, and 130.5, down by 0.9, 0.9 and 3.9 points over the second quarter of this year respectively; the entrepreneur confidence index of joint management and foreign, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan investment enterprises were 112.7 and 132.3, keeping the same level with the second quarter of this year; those of collective-owned enterprises, share cooperation enterprises and private company were 113.4, 121.0, and 126.3, up by 1.8, 3.4 and 6.3 points over the second quarter of this year respectively. Compared with the same period of last year, expect the entrepreneur confidence index of joint management enterprises and private company went up to some extent, those of other ownership types of enterprises went down to different degrees.

    Thirdly, the entrepreneur confidence indices of the large-sized enterprises was 137.8, down by 2.0 points over the second quarter of this year; those of medium-sized and small-sized enterprises were 121.6 and 116.6, keeping the same level with the second quarter of this year; compared with the same period of last year, those of large-sized and medium-sized enterprises descended by 12.9 and 2.0 points, that of the small-sized enterprises went up 2.0 points.

    Fourthly, the entrepreneur confidence indices in the eastern and central regions were 127.6 and 129.6, down by 1.0 and 1.2 points over the second quarter of this year; the entrepreneur confidence indices in the western regions was 125.7, keeping the same level with the second quarter of this year; compared with the same period of last year, that in the eastern, central and western regions went down by 6.9, 1.9 and 4.0 points respectively.
