In this September, the general level of consumer price rose 0.9% year on year, of which, that in the urban area rose 0.8%, that in the rural area went up 1.0%; the food price went up 0.3%, that of non-foods went up 1.2%; that of consumer goods rose 0.2%, that of service items went up 3.0%. Compared with this September, the general level of consumer price went up 0.7%. In the first nine months of this year, the general level of consumer price rose 2.0% over the same period of last year.
Analyzed by category of commodities, in this September, the food price went up 0.3% over the same period of last year, of which, that of grains dropped 0.9%, that of grease went down 8.2%, that of meat, poultry and their products went down 3.7%, that of fresh eggs went down 2.7%, that of aquatic products went up 4.3%, that of fresh vegetables rose 4.9%.
The price of tobacco, liquor and other articles went up 0.3%. Specifically speaking, that of tobacco went up 0.2%, that of liquors rose 0.6%.
The price of clothes went down 1.4%, of which, that of clothes dropped 1.5%.
The prices of home appliances and repairs services went up 0.3%, of which, that of durable consumer goods went down 0.6%, and that of home services, processing and repairs went up 4.8%.
The price of medical care and individual articles went up 0.5%, of which, that of western medicines dropped 1.3%, that of traditional Chinese medicines and prepared Chinese medicines went down 3.4% and that of medical treatment and health care went up 6.6%.
The price of transport and communications industry went down 0.6%. Specifically speaking, the price of transport tools went down 2.0%, that of vehicles and parts went up 10.8%, that of using vehicles and repairs rose 1.9%. that of commuting between cities went up 4.2%, and that of communications tools went down 15.2%.
The prices of recreation, education, cultural articles and related services went up 1.3%. Specifically speaking, the price of tuition, miscellaneous fees and fees for sending children to kindergartens went up 3.9%, the price for recreation went up 3.0%, that for travel and hanging out went down 1.1%, that of durable consumer goods for recreation declined 5.9%.
The price of housing went up 5.2%, of which, that of water, electricity and fuels rose 7.5%, that of building and upholstering materials went up 2.7%, and that of renting houses rose 1.4%.
