Cash Income of Peasants in the First Three Quarters Rose 11.5%.

    According to the sample survey on the 68000 rural households in the 31 provinces(regions & municipalities directly under the central government), the per capita cash income of farmers in the first three quarters was 2450 yuan, eliminating the price fluctuation, a real year-on-year rise of 11.5% which kept the same level with the same period of last year.

    First of all, the wage income grew fast. The per capita wage income of farmers was 793 yuan, up 16.1%. Specifically speaking, that from laboring in local factories was 155 yuan, up 23.8%; that from laboring outside the permanent residing places was 280 yuan, up 17.7%.

    Secondly, the income from selling agricultural products rose greatly. The per capita cash income of farmers from selling farm products reached 1131 yuan, up 18.1%. The per capita income from selling farming products was 606 yuan, up 16.6%; that from selling animal products was 456 yuan, up 19.6%; that from selling forestry products was 29 yuan, up 25.4%; that from selling fishery products was 40 yuan, up 20.7%.

    Thirdly, the rural family income from running business in the secondary and tertiary industries growth rate kept ascend. The per capita cash income of rural family from running business in the secondary and tertiary industries was 359 yuan, up 15.1%. The per capita income from the industry was 72 yuan, up 13.9%; that from construction was 38 yuan, up 0.7%; that from the transport and postal services was 91 yuan, up 21.7%; that from the wholesale & retail trade and catering trade was 97 yuan, up 24.1%; that from social service was 27 yuan, up 5.8%.

    Fourthly, the income from property and transfer increase. The per capita cash income of peasant from property was 55 yuan, up 7.7%; that from transfer was 112 yuan, up 6%.

    Fifthly, the burden from taxes and fees continued to decline greatly. The per capita burden from taxes and fees was 8.5 yuan. Of which, the per capita of agriculture taxes was 1.7 yuan, a year-on-year drop 89.6%.
