According to the survey on 19500 enterprises of all ownership types conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the fourth quarter of this year, the confidence index of all the entrepreneurs was 125.4, down 2.2 points over the third quarter of this year, dropping by 5.4 points over the same period of last year.

    First of all, the entrepreneur confidence indices of manufacturing, transport, storage and post services, wholesale and retail trade, social services, information transmission, computer services and software development reached 118.8, 123.1, 126.3, 127.7, and 151.3, declining by 3.8, 4.5, 2.7, 4.9, and 3.0 over the third quarter of this year respectively; those of construction, boarding and catering trade reached 128.5 and 125.7 respectively, keeping the same level with the third quarter of this year; those of mining industry, supply of electricity, fuel gas and water and post services, real estate development reached 161.2, 139.0 and 128.9 respectively, went up 2.7, 3.4 and 7.1 points with the third quarter of this year respectively; compared with the same period of last year, except the slight rises in construction, wholesale and retail trade, boarding and catering trade the entrepreneur confidence index in other industries declined unanimously to different extents.

    Secondly, the entrepreneur confidence indices of the state-owned enterprises, collective-owned enterprises, share cooperation enterprises, limited liability company, share limited company, private company, foreign, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan investment enterprises were 126.4, 110.2, 114.4, 125.1, 128.9, 122.9 and 128.4, down by 2.1, 3.2, 6.6, 2.1, 1.6, 3.4 and 3.9 points over the third quarter of this year respectively; those of joint management were 117.6, up by 5.0 points over the second quarter of this year respectively. Compared with the same period of last year, the entrepreneur confidence index of all went down to different degrees, limited liability company went down 13.7 points with the same period of last year.

    Thirdly,the entrepreneur confidence indices of the large-sized enterprises, medium-sized and small-sized enterprises were 133.7, 121.1 and 114.9, down by 4.1, 0.5 and 1.7 points over the second quarter of this year; compared with the same period of last year, those of large-sized and medium-sized enterprises descended by 14.0 and 1.5 points, that of the small-sized enterprises went up 1.4 points.

    Fourthly, the entrepreneur confidence indices in the eastern, central and western regions were 125.6, 126.8 and 123.8, down by 2.0, 2.8 and 1.9 points over the third quarter of this year; with the same period of last year, that in the eastern, central and western regions went down by 6.3, 4.9 and 3.3 points respectively.
