In June, the added value of mining industry increased by 0.7 percent year on year; the manufacturing industry grew by 8.7 percent; electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply increased by 11.6 percent.

In terms of economic types, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 5.4 percent year on year in June; the growth rate of joint-stock enterprises was 9.0 percent, and that of foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan was 6.4 percent; and that of private enterprises increased by 10.2 percent.

By industry, in June, the added value of 34 of the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth. Agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 9.6 percent, textile industry decreased by 1.3 percent, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 9.8 percent, non-metallic mineral products industry increased by 8.7 percent, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 4.1 percent, non-ferrous metal smelting and processing industry increased by 2.4 percent, general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 13.9 percent, special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 10.5 percent, automobile manufacturing industry decreased by 4.3 percent, the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 6.8 percent, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 15.0 percent, the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 13.4 percent, and the power and heat production and supply industry increased by 10.8 percent.

In terms of products, the output of 410 of 612 products increased year on year in June. Steel was 120.72 million tons, up 3.0 percent year on year; cement was 224.33 million tons, down 2.9 percent; ten kinds of non-ferrous metals was 5.49 million tons, an increase of 8.0 percent; ethylene was 2.33 million tons, an increase of 31.1 percent; there were 2.038 million vehicles, a decrease of 13.1 percent, of which 273,000 sets of new energy vehicles, an increase of 135.3 percent; the generating capacity was 686 billion kwh, an increase of 7.4 percent; crude oil processing capacity was 60.82 million tons, an increase of 5.1 percent.

In June, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.1 percent, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8 percentage point; the export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 1,212.3 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 13.4 percent year on year.
